Don’t waste your youth.

Ecclesiastes 11:9–12:1 gives a direct challenge to the next generation: enjoy the life God has given you, walk with wisdom, and remember your Creator while you are young.

This weekend during our Next Generation Takeover, we celebrated the ways God is already moving in the lives of kids and students. The message is simple: you do not have to wait until you are older to take your faith seriously.

Your youth is not something to throw away. It is a season to know God, follow Him, grow in wisdom, and use your life for what matters most.

God is at work in the next generation right now. The question is: what will you do with the years He has given you?

“‘Cause You took away my shame
And You nailed it to the cross
You got me running out the grave
Oh hallelujah, here I come!” 🙌

God is at work in the next generation, and what a gift it is to have a front-row seat.

As a church, we get to invest in them, walk alongside them, and witness firsthand the grace, glory, and activity of God unfolding in their lives and for this, we are grateful.

The next generation isn’t just the future of the Church, but they’re actually part of what God is doing right now, and He is doing something nothing short of incredible. ❤️

Thanks for celebrating the next generation with us this weekend, Impact!

No oxen means a clean stable.

It also means no harvest.

Proverbs 14:4 gives us a pretty honest picture of life with people: anything meaningful is going to come with some mess.

Marriage. Family. Friendship. Work. Church. Community.

There are no perfect people, and that includes us.

The Gospel changes the way we respond to that reality. Jesus met us with grace when we were far from perfect, and now He calls us to extend that same patience and grace to one another.

Less critical conclusions.
More generous assumptions.

Less chasing perfect people.
More learning to bear with the people God has placed around us.

The mess isn’t always a reason to walk away.

Sometimes it’s simply part of the harvest.

What if some of the things that make life messy are also the things...

“Frankly overwhelming the presence of God in this place.”

Scott’s story is such a beautiful reminder that the Church should be a place where people can come exactly as they are and encounter the presence of God.

Tattoos, past, questions, shame, doubt… none of this disqualifies one from being welcomed by Jesus.

If you find yourself wondering if you are welcome in this place, we want you to know that there is a place for you here. ❤️

Still thinking about Praise in the Park yesterday. ❤️

There was something special about gathering outside, worshiping Jesus together, and seeing our Rockford community come together.

So grateful for everyone who joined us, rain or shine 😂, and for all God is doing in and through this community. 🙌

What a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL day it was!

Our cups are overflowing. Church, we loved worshiping with you this weekend. ❤️
