We know many in our community have been looking for a way to come together and remember Oliver Forlines during this difficult time. We had seen on Facebook that people were interested in holding a candlelight vigil in his memory.

With the approval of Oliver’s family and the school, we will be holding a candlelight vigil Monday night at 7:00 PM on the high school football field.

We have asked people from different parts of Oliver’s life to speak, and we would also like to honor him by playing a few of his favorite songs.

Please wear blue and bring a candle if you wish. Some candles will also be provided.

This is meant to be a time of remembrance, healing, and support for our community and, most importantly, for Oliver’s family. Please come and stand with them as we remember and honor Oliver together.

Oliver’s funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 5th.

Please continue to keep Oliver’s family, friends, and our community in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
