St James Parents.

Summer vacation is over and Sunday School classes wil resume on September 13th here at St James.
Please register your school aged children to participate in this program that will help our children understand the faith, grow closer to the Lord, and lead a Christian life in this harsh world.

We encourage ALL parents to register and join our Sunday School classes. We have partnered with a sister church to deliver a well planned program. We also have a group of dedicated teachers that put a lot of effort in preparing and delivering these lessons.

It is Your responsibility, as Orthodox Christian parents, to help your children grow in the faith.
Luke 18: 16 "But Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’”

Please use the link below to register for class.

I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." John 11: 25-26

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ayham Akroush who faithfully served St. James Church for nearly 40 years as our Choir Leader.

For almost four decades, his unwavering dedication, steadfast leadership, and love for sacred music enriched our worship and inspired generations of choir members and parishioners.

His legacy of faithful service, kindness, and devotion to God and to his church will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful for the many years he gave so selflessly to our parish, and for the lasting impact he made on our community.

Fr. Fino, members of St James Parish Council, and all St James organizations extend their deepest condolences to Ayham's family and loved ones. Please keep them in your prayers during this difficult time. May the Lord grant Ayham eternal rest, and may the Lord's perpetual light shine upon him.

Condolences and funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Dear St James Family,

While Ayham and his family appreciate all the love that each and every one of you have shown them by trying to call, text or even visit, they ask you all graciously to give them some privacy to deal with this critical stage of Ayham's therapy. It is difficult for them to answer every phone call that they get due to all the side effects Ayham is experiencing If you need to ask about Ayham 's condition and see how he is doing, please do it through text only. They will respond to your messages once they are able to. They family is so grateful for this community and all the love and support. Let us all keep Ayham and the whole family in our prayers for a healing of his body and soul. May the Lord be with him and help him through this health crisis.
