LOVE IS MORE THAN A FEELING.

Love can be complicated.

Messy.

Inconvenient.

Sometimes even difficult.

But Jesus calls us to something greater than simply feeling love.

He calls us to live love.

To love God.

To love our neighbors.

To love our families.

To love our communities.

To love the people who need to feel seen, cared for, valued, and loved.

So here's your challenge today:

Think of one person who could use a little more love.

Then do something about it.

Send the text.

Make the call.

Share the meal.

Offer your time.

Open the door.

Listen.

Serve.

Love.

❤️ LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE.

We'll continue the conversation this Sunday at 9:00am as we explore Matthew 22:34–40 — The Greatest Commandment.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO TRADE?

Jesus doesn't simply tell us to love people.

He shows us what love looks like.

Sometimes love means trading something valuable in our own lives so someone else can experience life more fully.

Your:

TIME.
ENERGY.
MONEY.
HOME.
RESOURCES.
ATTENTION.

What if following Jesus means being willing to give some of what matters to us so someone else can experience God's love? On Sunday, Pastor Deb will remind us to,

“Trade what’s valuable in your life so that others may experience fullness of life.”

That's more than a nice idea.

That's love in action.

WHAT MATTERS MOST?

The religious leaders asked Jesus which commandment was the greatest.

His answer wasn't about checking more boxes.

It wasn't about looking more religious.

It was about love.

Jesus points us toward two things:

Love God with all that you are.
Love your neighbor as yourself.

Then He makes an extraordinary statement: these two commands summarize the heart of God's law.

That's where our LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. series begins.

📖 Matthew 22:34–40

This week, take a moment to ask yourself:

Am I making love the center of the way I live my faith?

Which is harder for you: loving God wholeheartedly or loving people who are difficult to love?

What if following Jesus could be summed up in two simple commands?

❤️ Love God.
❤️ Love People.

Jesus was once asked, “Which is the greatest commandment?”

His answer was simple—but living it out is anything but simple.

This Sunday we begin a new four-week series at Loveland Presbyterian Church: LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE.

We'll explore what it means to love God with our whole lives and to love the people God places around us.

And we'll begin with Matthew 22:34–40: The Greatest Commandment.

Because sometimes the simplest things are the most challenging to live.

What would change if “Love God. Love People.” became the way you approached every day?

Join us this Sunday at 9:00am!

No matter how far you've wandered, God's love never stops calling you back. 💛 There is no sin too great, no past too broken, no person too far gone for God's grace to reach. This is the good news.

Before there were rules, there was relationship. 🌿 God created us to live in a world shaped by His wisdom, love, and purpose. On Sunday, August 2, Pastor Deb begins a new sermon series: F.R.O.G. (Fully Rely On God). Join us at 9am as we discover that trusting God isn't about giving up freedom—it's about embracing the life we were created to live.
