Listen on Spotify! The disciples had done and taught a lot; they were tired and hadn’t eaten, so they went off to rest. The next thing they knew, Jesus was asking them to feed 5,000 people. How often do we feel this way, waiting for our needs to be met while facing an endless list of more? God’s compassion for the people transformed 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish into a meal that satisfied all of them, even those hungry disciples, who learned that the hand that feeds them is the Great Shepherd’s caring for his sheep.

Cultivating culture within small groups is key to healthy growth for individuals, groups, and continued discipleship. Whether you are in a small group at Our Story or not, you are welcome to join us. We will explore what it means to be part of a House Church, discuss how to build a healthy culture, and provide tools for continued growth.

This training will take place Sunday, September 20, following the service. Lunch will be served and materials provided.

We always love when Pastor Tom visits Our Story and oh boy! Did he deliver a great one! Take a listen on Spotify as he closes out our Nehemiah series, Brick by Brick.

We've been in the rubble, in the resistance, and in the moments we almost came down from the wall. But the wall is finally finished. But the moment the people gather isn't a celebration of a structure. The Word is opened. The people weep. They feast. And two great choirs climb to the top of the finished wall and sing until the sound of rejoicing is heard from far away. The wall became worship. Because it was never about the wall. It was about the restoration of a people. It was about coming home -not just to a place, but to God. PastorTom closes out the series with the reminder that whatever God has called you to build, the work was always the means. The relationship was always the point.

Fall 2026 youth group dates are now published! We're ready.

We're asking the big questions with the youth of Louisville, KY, and finding the answers in God's story together. God's story is OUR story. At Our Story Church, youth help direct learning on topics they want to cover to BECOME a part of God’s story as seekers and adopters of their faith by the time they enter college.

We will have free time and games for the youth (grades 6 to 12) to build community, join together for a meal, and then dive into worship with discussion.

We've all experienced those moments.

The invitation that seemed harmless. The accusation that stole our peace. The voice that sounded convincing... but wasn't God's.

Nehemiah reminds us that the enemy's tactics may change, but our calling doesn't.

This week we explored what it means to "Stay With It" - not by white-knuckling our way through life, but by staying close to Jesus.

Because the more familiar we become with the Shepherd's voice, the less confusing every other voice becomes.
