We were in the flow 🌊 as Pastor Ronnie brought a Bible Study out of the sermon series, “Flow State.”

“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.  For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Galatians 5:16-18

The Spirit is more than a doctrine to study. He is a Person to know

When the Spirit comes into a life, the Spirit of God creates something completely new

“Walking by the Spirit” means do what you do each day by the Spirit

Walking by the Spirit is what we do when the desires produced by the Spirit are stronger than the desires produced by the flesh

All the good inclinations or preferences or desires that we have are given by the Holy Spirit

Pastor brought another great addition to our “Flow State” series!

“He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” -John 7:38

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” -Romans 15:13

The Spirit was sent to us for us
The Spirit must flow through us for them
This river got deeper with distance

“The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.  Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.” -Mark 11:12-14
