William Lane Craig, a popular American Christian apologist recently made headlines because he said he does not accept the Nicene creed’s confession that the Son was

born of the Father before all ages……..Or eternally begotten of the father ….and he came under fire from those who would defend the Trinity. It would be easy to right this off as sophisticated theological jargon but if they could teach and receive these confessions back in the fourth and fifth centuries why are we so apathetic or worse, unaware of them today? My fear is that the church of today isn’t really concerned with knowing God, we just want to go to heaven. This issue impacts the very nature of God, who He is and who He is in us.
