What a FULL and JOY-filled morning for First Baptist Church Louisville!
✝️Yesterday, we celebrated “The Blessing & The Word”- two special faith milestones where our children receive Bibles.
Our families received several resources, as well as the K4 families committed to intentionally speaking God’s truth and blessings over their children. And our 2nd Grade families learned what it means to Shepherd their Child’s Heart.

🍦Then it was Promotion Sunday- new Sunday School classes + Promotion SUNDAES!

📖Then during Worship, the 2nd Graders were presented with their Bibles- their first “real” Bibles, as they begin reading and studying God’s word for themselves.

What a privilege it is to partner with parents and families as we point this next generation to Jesus! Please join us in praying for all of these children, that they will know Him, love His word, and follow Him for a lifetime! 🙏🏼

Just like how Andy wrote his name on the bottom of Woody’s boot to remind him who He belonged to- tonight we talked about how our identity is found in Christ and that we belong to Him!
“You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

🎥🍿We had fun in our pajamas watching Toy Story… but I pray the kids took away the most important part- that when we put our faith in Jesus and trust Him as our Savior, that we BELONG to Him!
And that no matter what the world tells us about our identity or who we belong to- that we are created in the image of Christ and there is nothing better than staying close to the one who loves us the most!❤️

We had a fun night of KidMin fellowship at our annual RA/GA Derby Car Race! 🏎️🏁

🐑✝️What an incredible week at Emerald Crossing and an awesome Family Night to wrap it all up! We are praising God for all HE did this week!🐑☘️
•119 AMAZING kids joined us as we learned about our Good Shepherd in Psalm 23!
•67 AWESOME youth and adult volunteers faithfully served and made this week possible, through leading Bible studies, music, crafts, science, snacks, recreation, registration, security, decorating, etc.
•Our kids gave an INCREDIBLE $2421.56 in mission offering to Operation Christmas Child! And since we met and exceeded our goal of $1500, 5 of our First Baptist Church Louisville staff got FLEECED during family night! (Shaving cream and cotton balls!😂🐑)
•But most IMPORTANTLY, 1 precious child made the most important decision of all and gave her life to Christ… and MANY more seeds of faith were planted in the hearts of these children all week!

💚THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, to every child, volunteer, and parent who made this week so special! We are so grateful for the memories made and the lives impacted by the truth of God’s word!
