🚨 SCAM WARNING — PLEASE SHARE 🚨
If you receive a text message from an Ashland-area (419) number claiming to be Pastor Scott Woodlee and asking you to purchase gift cards, send money, or do anything similar because he is “in a meeting” or otherwise unavailable — IT IS A SCAM.
Please do NOT respond, purchase anything, or send any money.
If you receive a message like this, contact me directly using the phone number, text thread, or social media/DM you already have saved for me. If in doubt, simply call me on my actual number and check.
Apparently, being “in a meeting” is now a favorite excuse for scammers. Unfortunately, they aren't nearly as funny as they think they are.
Please share this with others who may know me so they don't get caught by this scam.
