Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. (Genesis 3:8)

The temptation has been presented, and the woman has succumbed to it. What happens next? In what way will they surely die? How is the world changed forever? If you're in the Loudon area this evening, join us and let's see how the Text gives us answers to these questions.

WHEN: 7:00pm tomorrow night for Bible classes (6-10)
WHERE: 706 Ward Avenue in Loudon, TN

If anyone hears my words and doesnโ€™t keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. The one who rejects me and doesnโ€™t receive my sayings has this as his judge: The word I have spoken will judge him on the last day. (John 12:47,48)

The Christian faith is largely based on the words of Jesus, as recorded by the authors of Scripture. How do we know or why do we have confidence that the words recorded are actually Jesus' words? Our study during our worship assembly will present evidence for why it is reasonable to believe that Jesus' words have been accurately preserved in the pages of the New Testament. If you're in the Loudon area, we'd love for you to worship with us and participate in this study! We'd also love to have you join our Bible classes, which begin at 10am.

WHEN: 10am for Bible classes & 11am for the worship assembly (6-7)

The woman saw that the tree was good for food and delightful to look at, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom. So she took some of its fruit and ate it; she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. (Genesis 3:6,7)

Our last two studies in Genesis have focused on the nature of the tempter and the temptation, and this evening we are going to consider the response of the woman to what has been presented to her and the consequences that follow. If you're in the Loudon area, please join us for our time of study and worship!

Watch out, brothers and sisters, so that there wonโ€™t be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sinโ€™s deception. (Hebrews 3:12,13)

After previously imploring readers to recognize Jesus as worthy of even more glory than the famed Moses and to keep their confidence in Him, the author of the Hebrew letter now strongly warns against the dangers of becoming hard-hearted. Coincidentally (or not), this was a problem that those who followed Moses struggled with, and the author uses ancient Israel's failures to admonish first-century Christians.
If you're in the Loudon area tomorrow, we'd love to have you join us for this study during our 11am worship assembly. We'll also have bible classes beginning at 10am.

Our website has been updated with our most recent Sunday sermons, special studies, and daily Bible readings!
We are especially excited to have posted all seven lessons from this year's Weekend in the Word with Terry Francis, as well as a recent lesson preached by one of our longest-tenured Loudon Church family members, Bill Watkins, who presented a valuable lesson on how to deal with a brother who has sinned against you.
It is our hope and prayer that all of the teaching found on our website will strengthen faith and increase devotion to our Lord Jesus!
