Is the Gospel about trying harder to be humble? 👀🤔 It's actually about recognizing that we need Jesus.

Jesus willingly took our place, bearing the judgment we deserved, being dishonored by the very people He created, and then rising from the grave in victory. The One who deserved all honor humbled Himself for us. And that changes the way we understand humility. 🙌🏽🙌🏾🙌🏿

We can humble ourselves before God, trust Him with our lives, and let His grace shape us. Where is God inviting you to surrender your pride and trust Him more today? ⬇️

What if pride doesn’t always look like thinking you’re better than everyone else? 🤔 Sometimes pride looks like needing everyone to believe that you’re okay, that you have it all together, and that nothing is wrong.

God calls us to something different: humility, honesty, and a heart willing to be shaped by Him. We don’t have to prove that we’re fine; we can bring our real selves before God and trust Him with what needs to change. 🧡

Pride rarely announces itself as pride. Sometimes it looks like envy because we believe we deserve what someone else has, anger when someone corrects us because we think we should be above correction, or refusing to forgive because we believe we deserve to be treated better. 😬

But pride ultimately puts us at the center instead of God. Scripture calls us to a different way, one marked by humility, grace, and a willingness to let God reshape our hearts. 🧡

In a room filled with hundreds of different stories, heartaches, and unseen battles, no one is lost in the crowd. 🧡

While everyone enters with a unique set of circumstances, we gather under one constant truth: God’s grace meets us right where we are. He knows every individual heart intimately, yet brings us together as one unified body to remind us that we never have to walk through life alone. 🫂

We come from different backgrounds, different walks of life, and different stories, but at the foot of the cross, we stand as one. ✝️

In a culture that constantly finds ways to divide us, true unity isn't found in agreeing on everything or looking the exact same. It's found in Jesus!

When Christ becomes our common ground, superficial differences fade away, and real brotherhood and sisterhood take root. Walls come down, burdens are shared, and we walk out life together. 🫂
