Ladies of Charity Los Angeles

Ladies of Charity Los Angeles Inspired by St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, we are called to a vocation of service to the poor. Lousie de Marillac and St.

We embrace our Vincentian heritage by serving in humility, simplicity and love. We put our faith into action finding Jesus in those we serve. As women of faith, hope, and joy we bring the healing of Christ to those in pain, the hope of Christ to those who despair and the compassion of Christ to those who are outcast and marginalized. We are the voice of the poor.

🙏🏼✝️🤍 As we begin this holy season of Lent, the Ladies of Charity come together with humble hearts, remembering our call to serve Christ in those who are poor, suffering, and in need.

This season invites us to:
💜 Deepen our prayer
💜 Strengthen our spirit of humility
💜 Renew our commitment to service
💜 Live out the Vincentian mission with compassion

May these 40 days prepare our hearts to walk more closely with Jesus, to listen more attentively to God’s voice, and to serve with even greater tenderness and generosity.

Lord, purify our intentions, renew our hearts, and guide the Ladies of Charity in every act of service this Lent.
Bless our journey, and all those we are called to serve. Amen.🙏🏼🤍✝️

Today we remember the 1858 apparitions of the Blessed Mother to St. Bernadette in Lourdes, France.
Mary came with a simple message: pray, repent, and trust in God’s mercy.
From a hidden grotto came a spring of healing water that has touched millions of lives.

Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Lourdes,
you appeared to St. Bernadette to remind us
of God’s mercy and healing love.
Pray for those who are sick, lonely, or suffering today.
