“I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought, and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.” Leo Buscaglia

It is difficult to believe that our beloved Christine Love Ehasz departed this life two months ago. We have shared with you a glimpse of the profound impact she had on our church and, in particular, the Busy Martha Guild, where she served as Vice President. Chris lived a life of selfless dedication to others as a nurse, daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

In tribute to her generous spirit, we have been receiving and collecting monetary donations as a testament to her enduring legacy. These contributions will assist with the unforeseen expenses associated with her passing in Hawaii and her return home. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed thus far. We will continue to accept donations for approximately three weeks, after which we will present them directly to the family.

You can use Venmo, or send a check to the church office, marking it as a Gift of Love. Thank you all❣️

What is the significance of Nagypéntek?

Nagypéntek is the Hungarian term for Good Friday, a significant day in the Christian calendar that commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It's a day of reflection, mourning, and contemplation for Christians, particularly those of Hungarian heritage. The day is marked by solemnity, prayer, and often traditional customs and rituals. In the context of the post, Nagypéntek represents a moment between loss (the crucifixion) and hope (the promise of resurrection), inviting observers to pause and reflect on the significance of this day.
