What does real love actually look like?

Last Sunday, Pastor Mike continued in Romans 12 with a word that was as practical as it was convicting. Real love is not a feeling. It is a choice, lived out every single day in how we treat the people around us.

It looks like humility, choosing to honor others above yourself. It looks like peace, pursuing reconciliation even when it is hard. And it looks like wisdom, knowing that healthy boundaries are not unloving and that forgiveness and trust are two very different things.

And that is a wrap on VBS 2026! 🌿

This week, we had our summer camp: Rainforest Falls, Exploring the Nature of God. It was five days, more than 220 kids, 110 volunteers, and a whole lot of Jesus. Memories were made, friendships were born, and most importantly, young hearts gave their lives to Jesus for the first time.

Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time and energy, and to everyone who gave generously to make this week possible. You made this happen!

The last week, we had our Vacation Bible School: Rainforest Falls, Exploring the Nature of God. Five days, more than 220 kids, 110 volunteers, and a whole lot of Jesus. Memories were made, friendships were born, and most importantly, young hearts gave their lives to Jesus for the first time.

There is nothing like watching people step into new life on a Family Sunday!

This Sunday, Pastor Mike brought an amazing word from Romans 12 on true worship — not just what happens on Sunday morning, but your whole life transformed by the renewing of your mind. Our measure is not the world around us, but Christ. And our greatest calling is to love people genuinely.

"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think." Romans 12:2

Here’s to a new season for our graduates 🥳

Last Sunday, we took a moment to celebrate and pray for our graduates. As a church family, we love to be with them, honoring the years of hard work, sacrifice, and faithfulness that brought them here.

As Pastor Mike said, in all things, put Jesus first. Let Him be the love of your life. Because when you seek His kingdom above everything else, He will bring your dreams and desires into your life in due season.

To every graduate — we are proud of you, we are praying for you, and One Church will always be your home, no matter where God takes you.

"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need." Matthew 6:33

Unshakable faith comes from the unconditional love of God.

Romans 8 reminds us that we were never meant to carry the weight of condemnation, fear, or uncertainty. Because of what Jesus did, we stand before God; not guilty, not forgotten, not abandoned.

God is for you. Your case is settled. And nothing, not trouble, not loss, not the hardest season of your life, can ever separate you from His love.

"Nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." — Romans 8:39

How beautiful it is to see the next generation learning His name and singing it with everything they have. 🤍

This is what happens every Sunday in One Kids. A space where your little ones come to discover who Jesus is, how much He loves them, and just how powerful His name really is.

Jesus welcomed the kids. He made room for them. And so do we.

On this Memorial Day, we pray and honor those who gave everything.

Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. Their sacrifice is not forgotten. And neither are they.

Our prayers go out to every family that carries this memory. May God bring them comfort, peace, and the reminder that they are not alone.

Today we remember. Today we are grateful. Today we pray!
