What is God’s plan for my life?

It’s a question nearly every follower of Christ will ask at some point. We often imagine God’s plan as something centered entirely around our own lives—our future, our success, our struggles, and our purpose. But the story of Joseph reveals something much bigger.

In this message, Pastor Buddy teaches from Genesis 41:25–37 and follows Joseph’s remarkable journey from betrayal and slavery to imprisonment and, ultimately, becoming second only to Pharaoh in Egypt. Looking back, the hardships Joseph endured weren’t meaningless detours. They were part of a much larger plan that Joseph could not yet see.

God’s plans can contain both blessings and pain. Following Christ does not guarantee a life without hardship. Sometimes the difficult chapters of our lives prepare us for places, opportunities, and purposes we could never have anticipated.

And God’s plan is never only about us.

Through the story of Edward Kimball and D.L. Moody, we see how the faithfulness of one seemingly ordinary person can influence people for generations. Kimball could never have known the full impact of sharing his faith with a young D.L. Moody—or the extraordinary chain of lives that would eventually be touched as a result.

God’s plan for our lives may not be a single destination. It can unfold through many chapters, people, places, blessings, and struggles. We may never see the full picture during our lifetime.

What if the difficult chapter you’re experiencing isn’t the end of the story? What if God is preparing you for something you cannot yet see? And what if His plan for your life ultimately impacts people you may never even meet?

Join us as we continue our series, Life In Christ, and discover why we can trust God even when we cannot see where His plan is leading.

Trust Him. Follow Him. And see how His plan for you changes the world.

What does it truly mean to live a Life In Christ?

Today, we continue our Life In Christ series with a special message from our new Youth Minister, Brett, as he brings the Word and shares what God has placed on his heart.

Following Christ is about more than what we believe—it affects the way we live, the choices we make, the way we treat others, and how we respond to the circumstances we face each day. Wherever life takes us, we are called to keep Christ at the center.

Join us for today's service as we open God's Word together, continue exploring what a Life In Christ looks like, and welcome Brett as he preaches today's message!

Life In Christ: The Workplace | Genesis 39:1–7
Being a Christian isn't just about what happens on Sunday.
Our faith should shape every part of our lives—including the workplace.
In this message, Pastor Buddy teaches from Genesis 39:1–7 and explores what it means to live out our faith in our jobs, careers, and everyday responsibilities. Joseph's life reminds us that our work can be a place where our character, integrity, faithfulness, and relationship with God are put on display.
How should Christians behave at work? How can we honor God through our responsibilities? And how can our faith influence the way we treat others and handle success, responsibility, and temptation?
Join us as we continue our series, Life In Christ, and discover why following Jesus is not limited to the church building—it is a way of life.
