Calvary Community Church is a friendly family of believers in Jesus Christ. We gather each week to celebrate God and remind one another of his amazing grace and love poured out through Jesus into our hearts by his Spirit. Sunday is an opportunity for us to communicate the unchanging gospel of Jesus in a fresh

way. We respond together in song, giving, the giving of offerings, and the sacraments (baptism and the Lord’s Supper), We do the same things Christians have done for centuries. Through the teaching, music, storytelling, and celebrating, we aim to keep the focus on Jesus. We strive for life-changing gatherings. Our music and preaching is never for the sake of a show, but for pointing everyone to the greatness and love of God. At the close of the service this morning, Pastor Eugene announced that he will be resigning as the Senior Pastor here at Calvary. Eugene, Gianne, and Eve will be relocating to Little Rock, Arkansas, for the next chapter in their lives and ministry, while Charlotte and Penelope will remain in Washington to pursue their educations. Eugene says, “It’s been a joy and a privilege to serve the people of Calvary Community Church over the last decade. Thank you for the love and support you’ve shown my family and me in that time. May God bless and guide us all into bright futures rooted in His inexhaustible grace.”

Pastor Eugene’s last sermon at Calvary will be Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Hey, guys! Have you ever wanted to serve the Lord, but teaching the Bible just wasn't your thing? Are you more of a hands-on kinda guy? The kind of guy that wants to stand next to a raging fire and searing meat? A man of ACTION ...and grills? Well, here's your chance to put your manly talents to work in the service of Jesus: Calvary is looking for a few guys willing to help grill hotdogs for the after-VBS Sunday meal on June 28th. Michael, Nate, and Oli will be spearheading this, and they need a few henchmen willing to flex, grill, and just generally be a vibe here. So, are you in? If so, let us know.
