Long Beach is a city which is filled with many layers of people, cultures & backgrounds. With that said, it is the desire of Calvary Chapel Long Beach that w

e “build up” the Saints within the city, to teach them the Word of God so that they may be lights to a dark & lonely world. (Matthew 5:14)
It is also our desire that we reach out to our city, county, state & world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Only a true relationship with Jesus can change the world for good. (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19-20, Romans 8:28)

SHEPHERD TO SHEEP
BE LIKE THE LORD!

The Holy Spirit encourages us through the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

There are so many things we can apply this passage to. If we can just stop, by the power of the Holy Spirit, at certain moments in life & remember this verse & put it into practice... God will be Glorified.

BE KIND...
BE TENDERHEARTED...
BE FORGIVING...

To One Another - Everyone! Espcially the Body of Christ!

Remember that the Lord is Kind to us Constantly.

Remember that the Lord is Tenderhearted to us all the time.

Remember that the Lord is Forgiving to us all the time.

Let Jesus be our example & our enabler... to empower us to perform these actions to one another.

The Spirit will give us the Power to Love One Another so that we can be Kind, Tenderhearted & Forgiving just like He is to us.

Most of us read about the USS Abraham Lincoln spending more than 250 consecutive days at sea without a major port stop during its current deployment. It appears they might soon be docking; however, if you would like to send a card or care package, address it to:

The Abraham Lincoln is sailing in the Singapore Strait and is due to return to its home port at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego in late September or early October. So we have time to send a welcome home message or care package to our Navy Sailors.
