To every church sponsor, leader, Bible Study teacher, rec team member, volunteer, and supporter of Faith Explosion Kids Camp — thank you. Your dedication, prayers, and love for these kids make this ministry what it is. We are humbled and honored to serve alongside you.
As directors, we’ve had the joy of witnessing God’s faithfulness year after year. Last year we celebrated the birth of our first rec team baby, and this year we rejoice knowing another little one is on the way. In a previous year, we saw our first rec team salvation — and this year, we celebrated that same young adult’s baptism right here at Lakeview Baptist Encampment. We even witnessed our first camp proposal!! God continues to write beautiful stories through this camp.
However, nothing compares to what He did in the hearts of the kids this week. We saw numerous salvations, many rededications, and a plethora of prayer requests — each one a reminder that God is moving, speaking, and transforming lives. Every lesson taught, every game played, every worship moment, every conversation helped create a space where children encountered Jesus in real, lasting ways.
May we take everything we learned — every truth, every challenge, every moment of growth — and apply it to our lives each day. Let’s carry the fire of this week into our homes, our churches, our schools, and our communities.
God is so good and so faithful. May we never lose sight of the heartbeat of this ministry:

Thank you for serving, giving, loving, and showing Christ to these kids. We are grateful beyond words, and we can’t wait to see everyone back next year.
