"Integrity of Heart and Skillful Hands"
"David led with integrity of heart and skillful hands. So must we."
Psalm 78 ends with a portrait of the kind of disciple-maker God raises up ordinary people with clean hearts and ready hands.

Disciples are never made by accident. If we leave our spiritual growth—and the growth of those around us—to chance, the default drift of the human heart is always toward forgetfulness.

The Ephraim Factor: Armed but Unprepared
“Ephraim had the weapons… but not the readiness. Are we any different?”
Psalm 78 warns us that being armed with knowledge isn’t the same as being equipped for spiritual battle.

“Disciples aren’t made by accident. Psalm 78 calls us to wake up with a plan.”
If you’re ready to move past passive Christianity and step into intentional disciple‑making, this week’s Pastor’s Pen will challenge and encourage you.

Who is Jesus?

That's the question children will answer during this year's VBS: Illumination Station!

Throughout the week, they'll discover that Jesus is God's Promised Son, Perfect Son, Powerful Son, Sacrificial Son, and Risen Son. In a world filled with confusion about Jesus, we're excited to shine the light of God's Word on who He really is!

Would you join us in praying for every child, volunteer, and family who will participate? Pray that lives will be changed as children discover the truth of the Gospel.

Some things in life feel final — like the “law of the Medes and Persians.”
But when the world says irreversible, God says, "Watch Me work."
Daniel couldn’t change the decree.
Esther couldn’t revoke the edict.
Humanity couldn’t escape the verdict of sin.
But God overruled every one of them with a greater grace.
This week at FBC Daingerfield, we’re leaning into the God who shuts lions’ mouths, writes new decrees, and still breaks through what feels impossible.
And as we pursue our 2026 Regenesis Focus — Equipping Prayerful Believers to Intentionally Make Disciples — we’re learning to trust the God whose grace always has the final word.
There’s a place for you here.

By any normal standard, Good Friday sounds like a contradiction.Nothing about that day looked “good.” Not to the crowds. Not to the disciples. Not to anyone who watched Rome do what Rome did best.
