Join us on Sunday, June 7 at 10:00 AM as Susanne Janecke explores a proposed project that could significantly impact the Little Logan River, local taxpayers, public recreation areas, and the future of water use in Cache Valley.

The Logan River Watershed Project would involve hundreds of millions of dollars in public spending and major changes to how water is diverted and managed. Supporters see benefits, while critics raise concerns about impacts on river flows, public spaces, wildlife habitat, and the Great Salt Lake.

This presentation will examine the proposal, discuss its potential consequences, and share ways community members can learn more and participate in the public comment process before the June 22 deadline.

Whether you are passionate about environmental stewardship, water policy, responsible public spending, or simply want to better understand an issue affecting our community, we invite you to join the conversation.

Anna Clark will be leading a service exploring the impact of social media on our lives and communities. Drawing from her own lifelong experience with social media, she has spent time examining how these platforms shape our relationships, attention, well-being, and sense of connection. Through a thoughtful look at research, cultural assumptions, and the promises made by social media companies, Anna will share reflections and tentative conclusions about how we might build healthier and more intentional relationships with social media in ourselves and our communities.

May 10th, we will celebrate beauty, community, and connection at our annual Flower Communion Service. Bring a flower if you can—extras will be available—and take home a different one as a symbol of shared community and diversity. This Sunday’s service will be led by Jo Leary.

The Flower Communion service was created by Norbert Čapek (1870-1942), who founded the Unitarian Church in Czechoslovakia. He introduced this special service to that church on June 4, 1923. For some time he had felt the need for some symbolic ritual that would bind people more closely together. The format had to be one that would not alienate those who had forsaken other religious traditions. Join us for CVVU's version of this service.

Meet at 10:00 in person at CVUU 596 E 900 N in Logan or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM.

Today's the day! Today is Utah Gives—a statewide day of giving that supports nonprofits making a difference across our communities.

CVUU is participating, and we’re focusing on something especially close to our hearts: our LGBTQIA+ youth program.

This program create a space where young people can feel safe, supported, and fully themselves. For many, having a place where they are seen and accepted isn’t just meaningful—it’s essential.

If this matters to you, today is a powerful moment to help. Every donation—no matter the size—helps us continue offering connection, resources, and care to youth in our community.

Giving is open today, and all donations count toward Utah Gives:
