We'll be meeting at the church this evening for our Galaxy VBS decorating night starting at 7:00 PM.
Christina has done an incredible job planning and organizing our decorations this year, so let's all come ready to help bring her vision to life! If you have any balloon pumps, tape, helium tanks, or fishing line for hanging decorations, please bring them with you. The more supplies and helping hands we have, the faster we'll have the church transformed and ready for an amazing week of VBS!

Join us this Father’s Day at Ashton Baptist Church

This Sunday, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the fathers, grandfathers, and father‑figures who pour strength, love, and guidance into our families. We would be honored to worship with you as we celebrate these incredible men and thank God for the gift they are in our lives.

As we gather, we hold onto this promise:

We know the week leading up to July 4th can be a whirlwind: cookouts to plan, family coming in, vacation bags to pack, a million things on the to-do list. So, here's a little gift from Ashton Baptist Church to your family this year:

Drop your kids off at 9:00 AM and let them blast off on an out-of-this-World Day of Bible lessons, worship songs, games, crafts, mission projects, a movie break, and lunch...all completely FREE!

While your little astronauts are having the time of their lives, you get the gift of a few uninterrupted hours to prep for the holiday week ahead. Run errands. Get groceries. Breathe. This time is for YOU.

Then come back at 5:00 PM for the best part, the end of day CELEBRATION! Stay for a Family Dinner at 5:30 PM and hear all about the amazing things your children learned and experienced throughout the day. It's a celebration for the whole family, and everyone is welcome at the table.

This is more than a kids' program. It's a ministry to your entire family, because we believe that when children grow in faith, families grow together.

Ashton is planning a full day Saturday VBS (June 27th) that will be an incredible ministry opportunity for both our children and our community. Church family, this day cannot happen without you. We need teachers, greeters, kitchen helpers, craft leaders, registration workers — truly, there is a place for everyone to volunteer. So today, I’m asking you for just ONE day of your summer. Ashton Baptist Church is launching into an out-of-this-world Vacation Bible School, and we need YOUR help to make it shine!

Whether you love working with kids, decorating, leading games, serving snacks, or just lending a helping hand, there’s a place for you on our crew. No space experience required, just a willing heart and a smile!
