MEMBERS OF RICE PATCH CHRISTIAN CHURCH ARE STRONG!
Greetings in the name of Jesus!
We plan to have a “Drive In” worship service at Rice Patch this Sunday morning (March 29) at the regular 11:00 AM time. We are asking that everyone drive to the front parking lot. Speakers and a microphone will be set up on the front step and Bro. Larry will make announcements, update the Prayer List, and deliver a short devotional. The entire event will be approximately 20-25 minutes in length. We are humbly asking that everyone remain in their cars because we want to be in compliance with the Governor’s request regarding assemblies. As long as everyone remains in their vehicle, we are in compliance. We appreciate very much the guidance and protection that our leaders are providing.
We do not want to do anything that could endanger the health of anyone. Therefore, we are asking that if you wish to partake of the Lord’s Supper that you bring grape juice and bread with you in the car and that you partake of it in your vehicle. Rather than passing the collection tray, we are respectfully asking that you mail tithes to our treasurer, Dale Ulmer, at 1007 Ashton Road, Islandton, SC 29929.
Everyone seems to be anxious to at least “see” fellow members. Although we see the purpose for remaining in our homes, the isolation is frustrating. Be assured that the Lord is still in charge and will bring us through this situation. We appreciate our leaders at Rice Patch very much for initiating this worship service in the midst of the current confusion. If you have a need, please feel free to contact Bro. Larry. Larry is at home in Hampton since all classes now at Charleston Southern University are online.
