A lot of us treat faith like a way to get what we want from God, but faith was never meant to be a tool for getting things. It is the foundation you build your life on so that when life gets hard, you are still standing.

The goal is not to have faith only when things go your way. The goal is to trust God no matter what comes your way.

Sometimes life feels like a pile of random pieces and you cannot see how any of it fits together, but God is not building your life without purpose.

One of the greatest things you can pray is, “God, give me a vision for my life.” Because when God gives you vision, the pieces start making sense.
