The first temptation wasn’t that God isn’t real.

It was about believing that God was holding something back. The enemy shifted Eve’s focus from all God had given her to the one thing He had forbidden. And it planted seeds of dissatisfaction.

That strategy hasn’t changed.

When we fixate on what we don’t have, we can lose sight of all God has already provided.

Don’t let one unmet desire make you forget God’s faithfulness.

Sometimes our frustration reveals a deeper question:

Do we trust God, or do we only trust Him when He does what we expect?

The Lord’s response to Job is humbling: “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?” God sees what we cannot see. He knows what we do not know. When you don’t have the answers, trust the One who does.

Spiritual maturity requires surrender.

Something is always leading us—our desires, our emotions, our habits, or the Spirit of God. The question is: Who’s in control?

Galatians 5 reminds us to walk by the Spirit so we do not gratify the desires of the flesh. When we yield control to the Lord, He leads us into a life that reflects Him.

“Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16

What if abundance isn’t about getting more?

We spend so much time focusing on what we don’t have that we forget what God has already given us.

True abundance isn’t found in having everything you want. It’s found in knowing and walking with the God who has everything you need.

Too deep for words.

Some burdens are too heavy to explain. Some prayers are too difficult to express.

But when we don’t know what to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to God’s will.

Take comfort today: God hears even the prayers you can’t put into words.
