Sunday was a special one at Westwood!

Our CrossGen Gameday brought students and senior adults together for an afternoon of competition, Bible trivia, food, laughter, and fellowship.

But more than just having fun, we got to see something beautiful: generations connecting with one another as one church family.

We’re grateful for the wisdom, energy, stories, and joy that each generation brings to our church. This is what being a family church is all about!

STUDENTS! Join us this Sunday right after the morning worship service for CrossGen Gameday!

Come enjoy food, fun, fellowship, and a team Bible trivia challenge alongside our Senior Adults! Please see Pastor Ryan if you have any questions.

WHAT. A. NIGHT.

Last night, students from across our community came together for our See You at the Pole Worship Rally — and it was incredible!

We worshiped. We prayed. We opened God’s Word. And we lifted up our schools, our community, our state, and our nation.

This year’s theme was “Come to Me.”

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28:

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

What a reminder for every student: Jesus is inviting you to come to Him.

Come with your questions.
Come with your struggles.
Come with your fears.
Come just as you are.

We’re praying that the worship and prayers from last night don’t stay in the sanctuary. Let’s take Jesus with us back to our schools, our teams, our classrooms, and our community.

Thank you to every student, church, leader, volunteer, and family who helped make last night such a powerful night!

YOU’RE INVITED!

Students in 6th–12th grade, come join us for a Community-Wide See You at the Pole Youth Rally on Wednesday, September 23!

We’ll gather for a night of worship, prayer, and encouragement as we prepare to pray for our schools, our community, and our nation.

Doors open at 5:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

Last night, we kicked off the fall at Westwood Student Ministry and introduced our new theme: ANCHORED.

Our desire is simple: that our students would learn to build their lives on Jesus.

When the world around us feels uncertain, Jesus is steady. When culture pulls us in different directions, Jesus is our truth. And when we wonder where we belong, Jesus gives us purpose and brings us together.

Join us during the month of September as we explore the truth:

I am Forgiven

Because the gospel reminds us that our sin doesn’t have to define our story. In Christ, we can experience forgiveness, freedom, and new life.
