Story at a glance: While the media claims mask mandates are based on science and will “save lives,” science is actually ignored wholesale and recommendations are primarily pushed based on emotional justifications and triggers. Recommendations have fluctuated wildly from initially admonishing people to not wear masks, to mandating universal mask wearing by all, including the healthy, to wearing two, three and even four masks, plus goggles and face shields. The logical reason for all this flip-flopping is because actual science is being ignored. From the start, the available research has been rather consistent: Mask wearing does not reduce the prevalence of viral illness and asymptomatic spread is exceedingly rare, if not nonexistent. The largest COVID-19-specific mask trial to date found masks may either reduce your risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection by as much as 46%, or increase it by 23%. Either way, the vast majority — 97.9% of those who didn’t wear masks, and 98.2% of those who did — remained infection free. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rely on an anecdotal story about two hair stylists who interacted with clients while symptomatic. Because everyone wore masks in the salon, and none tested positive after exposure, they claim this is evidence that the masks prevented the spread of infection. Meanwhile, other CDC data reveal 85% of confirmed COVID-19 patients used masks “often” or “always”.

Special Invitation: At my age, it is blessed to have a home paid for. They call it mortgage satisfaction. Greater still, is to have a soul satisfaction that our name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. The great thing about it is that it has been paid in full by the Atonement provided by Jesus Christ. Also, it has been provided for EVERYONE. Whosoever will may come. It is an INVITE to all. Just have to accept it!

Whatever happened to the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence? Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the
Declaration of Independence?

Five signers were captured by the British as traitors and were tortured
before they died.

Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.
Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two
sons captured.
Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the

Revolutionary War .

They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes,
and their sacred honor .
What kind of men were they?
Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists .
Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers
and large plantation owners; men of means,
well educated, but they signed the Declaration
of Independence knowing full well that the penalty

would be death if they were captured.

Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and
trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the
British Navy. He sold his home and properties to

pay his debts, and died in rags.

Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British
that he was forced to move his family almost constantly.
He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was
kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and

poverty was his reward.

Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery , Hall,
Clymer , Walton , Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.
At the battle of Yorktown , Thomas Nelson , Jr., noted that
the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson
home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General
George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed,

and Nelson died bankrupt.

Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed.
The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months.
John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying.
Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill
were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and

caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished.

So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and
silently thank these patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid.

Remember: freedom is never free!

I hope you will show your support by sending this to as many people
as you can, please. It's time we get the word out that patriotism is NOT
a sin, and the Fourth of July has more to it than beer, picnics, and

baseball games.

God Bless America

The pandemic has brought out many different things. One thing that stands out amongst the many other things is businesses have suffered a lot of losses. However, we may think about the situation the lack of employees showing up for work has also become a pandemic. Employers who need to fill customer demands and needs have fallen short and unable to meet the supply and demand for their services. Help wanted signs are a common sight all over the place. This is not a slam on employees, because many have been sick and some have been afraid to catch the Covid. What has harmed the businesses of many is the "stay at home" group who have been paid to stay home.

Let's pray that people will be able to make adjustments and get back in the employment and help our businesses get back on their feet. The same can be said of our community churches. The church needs God's helpers to get back to their jobs and once again become employed in the service of God. There are "Help Wanted" signs in front of most churches.

Pardoned: I have a friend who was recently released from prison after 31 straight years. He is out and back into society and doing well. While he was in prison, he came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is absolutely, amazing, as to how God is opening doors for him. His pardon, or his release from prison is connected to God's forgiving Grace. Even though you and I may have never been in prison, yet we are victims of the prison of sin. The key to our release is Jesus Christ. Jesus has a key that will unlock the door of our heart and come in and make us a new creature in Christ. Fact is, He is the Key. Just call on Him and see for yourselves how you can get out of the prison of sin. He's just a prayer away.

Nehemiah 4:4a- Hear us our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give the over as plunder in a land of captivity.
Bullying is an epidemic in our society. About 20% of students from 12-18 experience it. Even adults can experience bullying. Adult bullies are people who physically or verbally intimidate, threaten, harass, or attempt to control another.
Nehemiah experienced bullying. As he was attempting to rebuild the wall they mocked, ridiculed, and made fun of what he was doing. If you are experiencing bullying do what Nehemiah did. He called upon God for help and strength. Don't be afraid to get input from a trusted friend or speak to a professional in authority.

Psalm 127:1-"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain,..." I have also heard an old saying: "If it's not broken, don't fix it." For the small percentage that want to radically change our culture and our country......"Leave it alone." It's been tested and tried for well over 200 years and has proven itself over and over that our forefathers knew how to be led by the Lord in the creation of our great country. Let have a great July 4th, and thank God for our leaders who let God direct their steps in forming the United States of America.
