Looking forward to see you all tomorrow morning! Come & join us!
Walk by faith.
The Bible instructs us that the believers in Christ must walk by faith (see Romans 1:17). That means a life believing in the assurance of things hoped for, and the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). We may not be able to see it with our eyes, but we know in our heart for it to be true. Like a gardener who plants a seed into the soil, there is a hope of a crop and harvest even though it just looks like dirt. We live by faith by what we know to be true, even if it is something that invisible to us.
When we walk by faith, we declare that we are trusting God with everything: our present, our future, our good days, our bad days, our friends, and our enemies. We trust that ultimately God will be victorious over this world, and that the payment of Jesus on the cross was sufficient for our salvation. We might not be able to physically see these things, but we live by faith not by sight. (2nd Corinthians 5:7)
And I believe that the more we walk by faith, the more invisible things we will start to โsee.โ Maybe not with our biological eyes, but in our confidence and assurance that what we believe is really true. Our spiritual eyes will be opened. And then as we continue walking, our eyes become more and more aware of what God is doing around us. This simple image is a reminder that when we walk by faith, there is beauty, life, and truth all around us waiting to be revealed. And most importantly, it is by walking by faith that pleases Him.
โWithout faith it is impossible to please Him.โ (Hebrews 11:6)
