40 Days of Community, "Better Together". Take a look back at Oak Park Baptist Church’s history of giving back to our community. In 2008, Oak Park restored a home for the Little Rock Compassion Center, providing a place for afflicted individuals and less fortunate families to stay as they worked to get back on their feet during difficult times.

Our church has always believed in giving back to those in need through our support of Cayce Charities in Thornton, Arkansas, the Open Arms Shelter in Lonoke, Arkansas, and many other organizations. Oak Park Baptist Church has continued its commitment to helping those who are less fortunate and making a difference in the lives of others.

Hebrews 13:16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

OLD FASHIONED DAY 2026 🤠

Yesterday, Oak Park stepped back in time. We dressed up, sang some old hymns, and, most importantly, enjoyed fellowshiping and worshiping the Lord together.

We would like to extend gratitude towards the Joy class for their dedication and hard work to making this quarterly fellowship event a success. The food tasted great, life-long memories were made, and we are thankful for the opportunity to love and serve the Lord together.

We’re already looking forward to our next quarterly fellowship activity, hosted by the Young Adults Class this November! 🕵️‍♀️🔎 More details coming soon!

Join us in welcoming our newly appointed Worship Pastor, David McCombs!

We are so excited and blessed to welcome David and his wife, Becky, to the Oak Park family! Their love for the Lord and passion for worship are evident in the many years they have faithfully served in worship ministry throughout Central Arkansas.

With more than 40 years of experience in worship ministry, David and Becky have a deep desire not only to lead worship, but to help teach the church what it means to worship God wholeheartedly, sacrificially, and with our whole lives. Their faith has been shaped by a rich family heritage of pastors and faithful ministry leaders, and we are excited to see how God will use their gifts and experience here at Oak Park.

“My wife Becky and I both have a passion for worship. We both have been involved in worship ministry in Central Arkansas for over 40 years, with humble beginnings helping with worship by the age of 12. We both have a passion to teach the church how to worship sacrificially and have both come from a family full of pastors and learned from some of the best around. We look forward to being lifelong members of the Oak Park family.”

David & Becky, welcome home! We are thankful God has brought you to Oak Park, and we can't wait to see all that He has in store. We are praying for you both as you begin this new chapter of ministry with us!
