Every transition has a shore on the other side. 🌊🙏🏾

"And It Came to Pass" continues this Sunday with "Transition Came to Pass" — from Luke 8:40.

Jesus crossed the water. And when He stepped back onto the shore, the crowd was already waiting. What looked like a return was actually a repositioning — and God had an assignment ready on the other side.

Transition can feel like interruption. But in the hands of God, every crossing is intentional.

And this Sunday, we also gather around the Lord's Table together — First Sunday communion — remembering the One who walked through the greatest transition of all so that we could walk in newness of life. 🍞🍷

Whatever shift you are in the middle of right now — you are not lost. You are being repositioned.

It is coming to pass. ✨

Hymn of the Month - "Sweet Hour of Prayer" by William Walford

A blind preacher in a small English village composed this hymn entirely in his head.

He couldn't write it down himself, so he recited it to a visiting minister who happened to stop by his shop one afternoon in 1842. That minister carried it to America. A newspaper printed it. A composer set it to music. And nearly 200 years later, the church is still singing it.

William W. Walford never saw the printed page. But he saw something far more important — the value of spending unhurried time with God.
