We invite you and your family to come join us at North Strand Community Church for our Summer Kick-Off Festival.
This is a FREE community event, so everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
Here is what you need to know!
When: Saturday June 6th, 2026
Time: 11am-3pm
Location: 201 Green Village Rd, Little River, SC, 29566
Cost: Admission is completely FREE - This includes parking and most activities on site!
Food: Hotdogs, Chips, and drinks will be offered at a cost. Cash is preferred.
ALL proceeds will go directly to benefit Coastal School Ministries.
What is there to do?
Most importantly, please notice this is a WATER based event. Most activities will include getting wet.
----Inflatables: 3 WATER inflatables will be offered based on age groups. Please avoid jeans or any clothing that may damage the inflatables. T-shirts and shorts are encouraged for water slides. Bring towels and a change of clothes if preferred.
-----Dunk Tank: We are very excited to offer a dunk tank at our festival this year. A HUGE shout out to our volunteers who have given their time to participate in such a wonderful cause. All proceeds will go directly to Coastal School Ministries.
Tickets will be available for purchase for our Dunk tank as well as a "Slam Dunk" opportunity, where individuals can pay to walk right up to the dunk tank, and simply press the button!
---- Missions Tent: Want a chance to get out of the sun and hear a great message? Join us in the Missions tent where we will have a brief message along with a FUN activity for the kids to enjoy. Every child who takes the opportunity to sit through the presentation, will receive a yummy treat afterwards.
---- Toddler Station: A separate toddler station will be offered for all little ones. Along with a seating area for parents to sit back and observe your children as they have FUN.
---- Ministry Tents: Come check out the ministry tents, where we will have representatives of a few of the ministries NSCC supports on site to educate individuals on who they are and what their ministry does for the kingdom of God.
---- Music: What is an event without some MUSIC! During the entire event, we will have music playing for you to sing along, dance along, or simply listen and enjoy.
----What if it rains?
North Strand Community Church will closely monitor all weather leading up to the festival date. Any delays, cancellations, or reschedules will be posted directly to this event page. Please stay tuned.
What is this festival benefiting?
We as a church wanted to offer a free community wide event to bring families and friends together.
Alongside the complimentary activities, we also will have food and a dunk tank at a cost, that directly benefits Coastal School Ministries. We will also accept any monetary donations during the event to go directly towards this ministry.
So, what is Coastal School Ministries?
Coastal School Ministries works in partnership with Horry County Public Schools to expose youth to Biblical Principles through Released-Time Bible Education. Classes are offered multiple class periods each day, five days a week throughout the school year. Coastal School Ministries is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, interdenominational organization that is supported by generous donations from individuals, churches, and businesses. No government funds are used. Currently serving Socastee High School, Socastee Middle School, Forestbrook Middle School, St. James High School, St. James Middle School, Myrtle Beach High School, Myrtle Beach Middle School, Loris Middle School, North Myrtle Beach Middle School, Aynor High School, & Aynor Middle School.
