Celebrating 156 Years of God’s Faithfulness 🙏⛪

Today, Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church celebrated a very special Homecoming Sunday as we honored 156 years of worshiping and serving our Lord!

Pine Grove was established in 1870, and for 156 years, God has faithfully blessed this church and the people who have called it home. What a testimony of His goodness and faithfulness! ❤️

As we look back over this past year, we have so much to be thankful for:

✨ 7 baptisms
✨ 8 new members
✨ A successful Vacation Bible School
✨ Our faithful church family
✨ Breaking ground on our new recreational building

We are so thankful for all that God has done and continues to do at Pine Grove. We are excited to see what He has in store for our church as we continue to grow, serve, and reach others for Christ.

A special thank you to the Montgomery Family for blessing us with a wonderful music special today. Your music was truly a blessing to our congregation! 🎶❤️

We would also like to thank Evangelist Lloyd Penberthy for bringing us a great message and sharing God’s Word with us today. We are grateful for the message God laid on his heart! 🙏

We are thankful for our current pastor, Pastor J.W. Ellison, and for his leadership and service to our church.

To everyone who has worshiped, served, prayed, given, and helped carry the work of Pine Grove throughout the years—thank you! We are standing on the faithfulness of those who came before us while looking forward with faith to what God will do in the years ahead.

156 years and still praising! 🙌
