A Christian’s “personal revelation” will never supersede the Bible. It should always be judged by other believers based on the Scriptures. “God told me so” is not a pass to justify whatever you wish, but should be a signal that it needs to be submitted to the brethren for confirmation.

Are you preparing yourself for the time when your current leaders and mentors pass on to glory? Are you mindful of filling their shows and ministering to the generations that follow you? Yes, we encourage one another, but we also develop our direct relationship with the Father. There may come a time when there’s no one to call upon except for the Lord.

Do we ever consider giving God everything we have? It’s challenging just to think about it. May we cultivate a faith that trusts God so completely that we see Him as our provision and that we’re able to give up our possessions for his service.

be done”?
Believers need to constantly be aware of their submission to God and putting their fleshly desires to death. Following Christ and being effective in ministry has a discipline few are willing to accept.

Non-Christians are comfortable using their vocabulary in public spaces. Shouldn’t Christians be just as confident using their’s?

God’s grace is sufficient, even for the Christian who has grievously sinned. Forgiveness and reconciliation are available to everyone, including hypocrites.

While there are battles over posting the Ten Commandments on public property, there’s nothing prohibiting a church, business, or private citizen from posting the Ten Commandments on their own property. Honestly, it’s the believer’s responsibility to share the Gospel, not the government.

There are no “generals” in the Body of Christ. (Notice how no one is ever described as a “private”.) Ephesians 4:11 is very clear about who should be leading the Church. All believers should have a servant mentality, not clamoring for position. Imagining one has a spiritual military rank is erroneous and outside the expression of a bride’s relationship with her husband.

Because God is omniscient, He knew that Moses would murder, but still chose him to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt. God knew that David would murder and commit adultry, but still chose him to lead and reign over Israel. God knew Peter would deny Jesus, that Paul would murder Jesus’ followers, that Stephen would be killed, but God chose them all for ministry.

God already knew how you would fail him and sin long before you were born, yet He still called you. Move beyond your failures (past & future), other’s sins, and serve God today.
