Bishops Call the Church to Pray

Followers of Jesus,

Once again, we have sensed a call of the Spirit to come together as the church, across all of our regions, to pray and fast. We all desire for Spirit aliveness to be one of the hallmarks of each Free Methodist congregation, and together we envision a Spirit-fueled movement in the FMC. We know that movements and revival are birthed in prayer and dependency on the Lord. Please participate with us in this time of prayer and fasting: Seeking Together: Prayers for the Church.

Our Superintendents, Area Directors, and some of our national leaders have recorded short video devotions on the topics of Identity in Christ, Divine Presence, Power, and Legacy & Impact. Anyone can subscribe to receive these devotions via email by filling out the form at this LINK.

At this WEB PAGE, you will find a downloadable PowerPoint slide that churches can use to inform and invite people to join in prayer and fasting for the month of September. Also included is a downloadable and printable bulletin insert that promotes the daily themes for all 28 days of prayer. Finally, there are buttons that will take you to the YouTube links for the daily videos when they are available.

On Tuesdays beginning September 15, Doris Jensen will begin to facilitate the Ladie's Bible Study. Featured in the kick-off is a 12-lesson focus in the series "Giving God Your Future" by Thelma Wells. Bible Study is every Tuesday from 1-3 pm at a member's home.
