It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kim Silva, the beloved oldest sister of our Vice President, Carlos Silva, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kim was a lifelong member of our Festa family and deeply connected to our Portuguese community.
Throughout her younger years, Kim was proudly involved as a side maid alongside her sisters and cousins, creating lasting memories and traditions that many of us remember fondly. Her presence, dedication, and family pride were a true reflection of the values our Festa represents.
As the Silva family grieves this profound loss, they are also facing the financial burden of funeral expenses while supporting Kim’s elderly parents and her siblings during this incredibly difficult time. We are hopeful that our close-knit Portuguese community will come together to offer support.
