First Baptist Church Lincoln This page is intended to document the activities for the members of the church & community of Lincoln In 1928 a lot was purchased for $500.00.

First Baptist Church of Lincoln was founded and organized in the city park under a tent on July 9, 1921. An unsubstantial "tabernacle" was erected first and replaced in 1925 by a stone structure. The current building was erected in 1957 with a refurbishing of the auditorium and an addition of an educational wing in 1984. In 2007-2008 the sanctuary and kitchen / fellowship hall area received a mode

rn makeover. The church is dedicated to the work of God through worship, evangelism, fellowship, discipleship and ministry exalting the name of Jesus. As a "people of promise" come with us and we will do you good. Our hope is that you too will receive the promise of eternal life.
