Just a taste of Bible study tomorrow.
One of the most prolific statements ever made is recorded in 1 Samuel 17:26. David asks a terrified and hiding Israelite army "who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the Living God?" We as believers have become like the Israelites. We have allowed circumstances and the enemy to break us down. We have become fearful as we heed the voice of the enemy. We need to have an attitude like David. Our question should be "who is he that he should defy a child of the One True Living God? Did God not create my enemy? Can He not destroy that same enemy?" Who have you allowed to become more powerful in your life? Are you an Israelite cowering in a corner allowing the enemy to torture, taunt and tease you? Or are you a David? Prepared to go to war with only the things God has given you? Where is your faith?
