Faith Bible Church

Faith Bible Church Learn, Love, Launch, Light We believe that the Bible is God's Word, and that it is complete, accurate, and authoritative.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who has always existed as God but who came to earth as a man, born of a virgin. We believe that, being fully God and fully human, Jesus was the only one whose death could pay for the sins of all humanity. When he died on the cross, Christ provided redemption from our sinful state and reconciliation with God the Father for all who will place their fai

th in him. We believe that, just as he predicted, Jesus was raised back to life on the third day after his crucifixion, defeating death and offering eternal life to all who believe. We believe that, following this, he ascended into heaven, where he sits at the right hand of the Father and acts as our mediator and high priest. We believe that Jesus will return to judge the earth and take his followers home. We believe that those who place their faith in Christ are filled with God's Holy Spirit, who enables us to live a life of communion with God and victory over sin. The Holy Spirit guides us, teaches us, gifts us, corrects us, and empowers us to live the lives God intends us to live. This is a brief summary of our beliefs here at Faith Baptist Church. For a more thorough description of our doctrine and theology, please speak with a pastor and request a copy of the church constitution and by-laws.

Ever feel like God is silent or invisible in your struggles? The book of Esther reveals a powerful truth: God is always working behind the scenes, orchestrating events for His purposes even when we can't see Him.

Just as Esther came to her royal position "for such a time as this," God has positioned you exactly where you are for His divine purpose. Through seemingly random coincidences—from Esther's beauty to the king's sleepless night—God orchestrated the salvation of His people. What looks like chance is actually God's providence in action.

When facing impossible situations, we have a choice: try to maneuver our way through, or step back in meekness and humility, trusting God's sovereign plan. Like Esther, we may not understand the full picture, but we can trust that God is faithful. He takes what others mean for evil and turns it for good.

All we have left to offer is our hallelujah—and that's enough.

Are you building your life on what matters most? This week we explored the book of Haggai and discovered a powerful truth: what you prioritize reveals your worship.

The Israelites started strong, rebuilding God's temple with enthusiasm. But when opposition came, they backed down and focused on their own houses instead. Sound familiar? When life gets hard, we often drift toward what's comfortable rather than what's important. God had to remind them: "Give careful thought to your ways" (Haggai 1:5).

Here's the challenge for us today: HONOR God by putting Him first. ENCOURAGE others who are fighting battles we know nothing about. YIELD everything to God—your time, talents, and resources. Don't just wear the disguise of faith; develop deep roots in your relationship with Christ.

Who is the King of your heart? Are you holding back, or are you opening your hands and saying, "God, it's all Yours"? Strong beginnings require faithful continuation. Let's go, bring, and build His kingdom together.

Are you a contender or a pretender in your faith? This Memorial Day weekend, we explored Daniel's incredible example of standing firm in a culture that opposed everything he believed in.

Daniel was just a teenager when taken captive to Babylon, yet he chose to honor God even when it cost him everything. He passed seven critical tests—from refusing to defile himself with the king's food to facing the lion's den with unwavering prayer. His secret? Private communion with God that built public courage. Daniel didn't just survive in a hostile culture—he shined like a light, leading many to righteousness.

What comes out of your life when the heat is turned up? When you're under pressure, do you react emotionally or respond biblically? Daniel's face told a story of faithfulness. Your face tells a story too. This week, ask yourself: What controls me? Am I willing to stand alone? Can I finish strong?

Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. (Daniel 12:3)
