There’s a common myth that the deeper you go into theology and the Bible, the harder and less loving your heart becomes.

But in 1 Peter, we see the exact opposite. Peter argues that true, supernatural love doesn’t exist in spite of deep truth; rather, it is the direct product of it. The living and abiding Word of God is what purifies our hearts so we can actually love each other fervently.

We’re diving into 1 Peter 1:22–2:3 tomorrow morning at 10:30 am. Join us as we explore how tasting the truth of Scripture changes the way we treat one another.
