Tell them where you'll meet them.

Walk in together.

Sit together.

Introduce them to somebody.

And if they're nervous about coming alone?

It’s in the quiet preparation.
The small details.
The prayers whispered before anyone arrives.
The things handled simply because someone cares enough to make sure it gets done.

Not every act of service happens in front of the congregation—and it doesn’t have to.
