Celebration of Life for Jeff Nagell

We invite, friends, family, and our community to join us in honoring the life of Jeff Nagell on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. The service will be held at Friends Church of Liberal, 1650 N. Western Ave.

Jeff touched so many lives with his insight, humor, generosity, and gift for teaching. This gathering is a chance to come together, share memories, and celebrate the legacy of his service to Christ.

Words cannot express our sorrow at the loss of Jeff. We know he is happy and whole with his savior and rejoice in that.

Good morning, Everyone. I have some sad news today in our EFC-MA family.

Please be in prayer for Mary Nagell as her husband, Jeff, passed away yesterday. He had quadruple bypass surgery on July 27th. He pastored at Liberal Friends Church in Liberal, Kansas. Jeff had an incredible gift of teaching. The last time we were at Liberal Friends for a service he spoke about the power in the name of Jesus Christ. Such an amazing message. May God be with Mary as she is grieving this huge loss. My heart goes out to her and to all of their family.

The Celebration of Life service will be Friday, August 21st at 1:00 p.m. at Liberal Friends Church.
