We, at Trinity, give thanks for the election of the first Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes, the Rev. Zachary Nyein. Thanks to all the candidates, who were called to place themselves into the search process for our first bishop. We give thanks for the people at the diocesan level and search committees, who did an outstanding job getting the information AND the candidates out to meet Episcopalians far and near across the Lower Peninsula. Finally, thanks to our Trinity delegates who prayerfully approached this convention and shared our wishes and votes in this process. Thanks be to God.
