Grief...........

How do we handle grief?

Everyone is different!

Some days you'll feel strong. Other days, a song, a smell, a picture or a random memory will bring tears to your eyes when you least expect it.

Part of healing isn't learning how to "get over" someone you loved. It's learning how to carry their memory while continuing to live the life you've been given.

And that's hard. And is not spoken about enough. Which leaves so many feelings like they are trapped in a world they can't get out of.

If you're walking through grief, give yourself some grace.

You are not weak because you're struggling to step back into the world. You are learning how to live after losing someone who helped make your world what it was. And on top of that rediscovering what life looks like for you as you move forward.

Take things one day at a time and always remember that your loved one leaves behind a legacy. Be sure to cherish and share those memories.

And if no one has told you lately, it's okay to miss them forever. And it's okay to step back and take time for yourself. Healing from grief matter more than we know.
