Thank you to our dear friend and ministry partner, Trina Whitley, our Re-Entry Program Director, Travis Sauls (pictured left), had the pleasure of attending "The Future of Reentry," a major event in North Carolina that marked the debut of an innovative technology platform designed to reduce recidivism and connect incarcerated individuals with essential resources. The unveiling featured a live presentation held at the Kresge Auditorium in Raleigh, NC.

Pittman (pictured right), is founder and executive director of Recidivism Reduction Educational Program Services, Inc. (RREPS) and Policy and Program director at Emancipate NC, was sent to prison at just 18 years old and served 11 years and six months for conspiracy to commit murder. On January 26, Pittman will mark eight years since his release and return to the Southeast Raleigh community where he was raised.

What a powerful day of fellowship at Davidson Prison Ministries’ Harnessing Hope Event yesterday! 🙌🏽

We were honored to gather with incredible men from our pre- and post-release community, local church partners, and supporters who believe in the power of restoration, redemption, and real connection.

Around the table, stories were shared, hope was strengthened, and lives were reminded that God’s grace reaches far beyond prison walls. This is what ministry looks like—people showing up, building bridges, and walking together toward healing and purpose.

Thank you to everyone who attended, served, prayed, and supported this special event. Your presence helped create a space where hope was not just spoken—it was felt.

Together, we are proving that restoration is possible and no one is beyond the reach of God’s love.

What a beautiful morning at our Davidson Prison Ministries Breakfast Fundraiser & Art Show! ☕🎨🙏Huge THANKS to Bank OZK for sponsoring this event!

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing turnout, the fellowship shared, and the overwhelming support from our community. Seeing so many people gather with hearts open to the mission of restoration, redemption, and second chances was truly a blessing.

The breakfast was filled with meaningful conversations, powerful testimonies, and inspiring artwork that reflected hope beyond prison walls. Every moment reminded us that ministry happens when people come together and say “yes” to being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, donated, and helped make this event such a success. Because of you, Davidson Prison Ministries can continue bringing hope, healing, and the love of Christ to those impacted by incarceration.
