Walk His Way
Because I am doing something new! Now you will grow like a new plant. Surely you know this is true. I will even make a road in the desert, and rivers will flow through that dry land. ~ Isaiah 43:19
Sometimes life feels like walking through a desert.
Dry seasons. Uncertainty. Delays. Exhaustion.
Moments where you wonder if growth is still possible.
But God gives this reminder:
“Because I am doing something new! Now you will grow like a new plant… I will even make a road in the desert, and rivers will flow through that dry land.”
God specializes in building roads where there were none before.
A desert usually represents struggle, isolation, and survival mode. But God says He can create movement even there. He can carve a path forward in the middle of what feels stuck. And not only that, He promises rivers in dry places.
Provision. Renewal. Growth. Opportunity. Peace.
The road may not always be easy, but it is leading somewhere.
And while you are searching for what’s ahead, don’t miss the rivers already flowing in your life. The relationships, opportunities, lessons, strength, and blessings God has already provided are helping shape and prepare you to fulfill the purpose He created you for.
This week, keep walking forward even if the landscape around you feels barren. New growth often starts underground before it’s visible above the surface. God may already be preparing rivers ahead that you cannot yet see.
Your job is not to have the entire map.
Your job is to trust the One making the road
…and Walk His Way
Three Actionable Steps This Week:
1. Take One Forward Step Daily - Stop waiting for perfect conditions. Send the email. Start the workout. Have the conversation. Small steps still move you down the road God is building.
2. Water Your Mind With Gratitude - Desert thinking focuses on lack. River thinking focuses on possibility. Each day, write down three things God is already providing in your life.
3. Release What Keeps You Stuck - Old fear, old habits, old disappointments, on’t carry unnecessary weight into the new season God is creating.
Dear Lord ~ Thank You for the rivers already flowing in my life, the blessings, relationships, opportunities, strength, and daily provision that remind me You are always working. When I feel tired, uncertain, or stuck, help me pause and recognize the ways You are already guiding, growing, and sustaining me. Teach me to walk forward with gratitude instead of fear and faith instead of doubt. Renew my spirit, strengthen my confidence, and continue leading me toward the purpose You created for my life. Help me trust Your direction one step at a time ~ Amen.
