Greenbrier Valley Circuit Riders - Christian Motorcycle Association

Greenbrier Valley Circuit Riders - Christian Motorcycle Association Changing the world, one heart at a time by sharing and showing the love of Jesus Christ to motorcyclists. Meeting starts at 7:00pm

We meet on the first Monday of every month at the Big Wheel in Alderson, WV. The basic purpose of a CMA Chapter is to support the National CMA effort of “sharing and showing the love of Jesus Christ to motorcyclists,” and supporting this ministry through regular financial support to National. In this, there is a three-fold purpose:
1.Provide and encourage members to be active in testimony and Chri

stian witnessing to all motorcyclists.
2.Provide a Christian fellowship ride group.
3.Provide an evangelistic association for motorcycling. As a member of this ministry each member will agree to live and act under biblical principles of conduct. These principles should be effective in your daily life, but must be followed whenever a member is wearing the CMA back patch. Many scriptures can be presented to support a godly lifestyle, but use the following scripture passages as an overview: Titus 3:1-11; Gal. 5:13; Matt. 18:15-19; 1 Cor. 6; James 4:1-10. Each chapter works under the leadership of their State Coordinator and Area Reps to further the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

From the Patriots
Good evening everyone. We are sorry things went sideways last Saturday with the weather and having to cancel our “Ride to Give”. As posted on our flyer, we did have a rain date in case this happened. Our rain date was the 21st , but we have since learned that the Helping Hands organization had already scheduled their poker run for the 21st and we didn’t want to have two local poker runs going on the same day.
So the club came together to see if we could come up with a new date for our Ride to Give.
The question was asked about the first Saturday in September.
If everyone remembers, the first Saturday in September was always Paul & Vicky’s “Lindsey Raines Memorial Ride”. As you may know, we lost Paul earlier this year and it was a great loss to our local communities and to the Patriots Motorcycle Club. Paul and Vicky have been members of the Patriots MC since our club was chartered.
Paul was always the first one to step up and help our local communities and he had a deep love for Greenbrier West athletics.
We reached out to Vicky and asked her if the Patriots could move our Ride to Give to the September date that Paul always used for the Lindsey Raines Memorial ride.
So with Vicky’s blessing, we are pleased to announce that the Patriots MC, Ride to Give, will be held on Sept 6th. It will also be a memorial ride to remember Paul and Lindsey, and all the work that Paul did for our communities.
We hope you will re-mark your calendars for September 6th and come out to join us for our ride and to remember Paul.
Our format will stay the same as before with registration at the Meeting Place in Alta and our picnic will still be at the Greenbrier Forest after the ride. All bikes in by 4pm.
There is no rain makeup date for our ride, so fingers crossed the weather is good on the 6th.
Thank you,
Patriots Motorcycle Club

Today kicked off the riding season for our Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclist Association (CMA). We had our annual Run for the Son fund raiser ride. We met at Hardee's and prayed prayers of blessing over each rider's motorcycleand life. We rode to Paint Bank and ate at The Swinging Bridge. After lunch we gathered outside and prayed for the CMA ministry and its many affiliates, our Country and for the furtherance of the Gospel throughout the world.
We had 9 members ride and it was a beautiful time of fellowship!
Looking so forward to supporting all of the charitable rides, memorial rides and Poker Runs in 2025; let the games begin!!!

This Saturday, May 3rd, is our annual Run for the Son ride. We are raising money for the Christian Motorcyclist Association, of which we are a Chapter (Greenbrier Valley Circuit Riders). We would like to invite our local biker community to ride with us. If you choose to make a donation, it will be utilized to further the Kingdom of God nationally and internationally; we really just want to fellowship with you. We are leaving Hardee's in Lewisburg promptly at 10:30 and riding to Paint Bank to enjoy lunch at The Swinging Bridge restaurant. Come on out and get a buffalo burger...Lol!

The Last Supper photos...Have a great Easter and keep Jesus at the center of it all. He is worthy who sacrificed His life for the world!

Every year myself, some members of our CMA Chapter, and this year, some guys from God's Way Home participated in a skit about Easter. This year we decided to depict the Last Supper. When I started reading the Gospels reminding myself about this gathering, I realized all of the vital messages in this Holy meet up with Jesus. This is where our New Covenant was established and Holy Communion instituted. Jesus symbolized to His disciples that his body would be broken and His blood shed by the breaking of bread and the pouring of wine. He asked us to do THIS in remembrance of His great sacrifice. His death on the cross took away the Sins of the World and allows believers to let His grace free them from the burden of a sinful way of life. He then washed their feet as an act of humility and demonstrated how we are to care for others and serve others.
I loved picking out and bringing the food for the table; we had so much fun and the word got out quickly that we were eating shrimp cocktail with cocktail sauce. We even shared our fried bread and shrimp with the people who drove up to see us. It was hilarious and we laughed for 2 hours on this freezing cold day spitting the snow. I want to thank all of these faithful disciples in disguise for having servant's hearts and great attitudes! I think we blessed a lot of drive byers with our humor!

I try to support as many of the charitable rides in our local community every weekend during the riding season every year; it is an honor and a pleasure to ride for these great causes and helping people with needs. If you would like to support the Greenbrier Valley Circuit Riders; our local Chapter of the CMA (Christian Motorcyclist Association), here is a way you can be a blessing to us to further our calling...

Our Chapter is hosting a spaghetti dinner with all of the trimmings at The First Baptist Church in Rainelle tomorrow, April 7th, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Our Chapter members will be present to serve you with a smile! If you have any prayer requests, just grab one of us aside so we could speak the Word of God in prayer over your situation. We love our community and the bikers in it especially!!! Hope to have the pleasure of serving you!!!
If you want to stay for or just frequent the service, it is at 7 pm at the same place but in the Sanctuary.
