As we celebrate Pride Month, we're looking back and giving thanks for the many ways St. Peter's has sought to be a place of welcome, love, and belonging for all God's people.

Our faith calls us to recognize the dignity of every human being, and we are grateful for the LGBTQ+ members, friends, families, and neighbors who enrich our church community with their gifts, faith, and presence.

While much has changed over the years, one thing remains constant: God's love is for everyone.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the diversity of God's creation and reaffirm our commitment to being a community where all are welcomed, valued, and loved.

Beware of Email and Invitation Scams

We have recently seen an increase in phishing scams. These scams may arrive as emails, text messages, or event invitations that appear to come from clergy, staff, church leaders, or other trusted acquaintances. They often create a sense of urgency and may ask for personal information, money, gift cards, or prompt you to click suspicious links.

Please remember: St. Peter's clergy and staff will never ask you to purchase gift cards, send money, provide sensitive personal information, or respond to unexpected requests sent by email or text message.

If you receive a suspicious email, text message, or calendar invitation that appears to come from someone at St. Peter's, do not reply, click any links, or open any attachments.

Instead, contact the sender directly using a phone number or email address you know is legitimate to verify the request. A phone call is often the best way to confirm whether a message is genuine.
