Our Rooted Kids had an incredible time re-enacting the battle of David and Goliath yesterday! From setting up two opposing camps, being fitted for armor, to taking down Goliath with a slingshot (yes—even watching his head fall back!), every moment brought the story to life in such a powerful way.
The excitement didn’t stop there—our “Israelites” celebrated their victory by running the Philistines off and ending the day with a feast together! These are the kinds of moments our kids will carry with them and never forget.
Most importantly, they walked away with a truth that will stick: when God is on your side, it doesn’t matter how small or outnumbered you feel—victory belongs to Him!
A huge thank you to our amazing Rooted Kids staff who poured hours into building and hand-painting Goliath with such incredible detail, and creating an immersive experience for our kids.
