“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” (Psalm 122:1 ESV) Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the Month.

Church Worship Times and Activities
Sunday Morning Worship Times 9:00 AM. We also have Midweek Worship Service at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. Sunday School time for ages 4-18 is 10:30 - 11:30 AM and is located in the lower level of our Fellowship Hall. Handicap access available. Sunday School runs approximately early September to early June. We also offer Vacation Bible School during the summer break. Adult Bible Study follows fellowship time at 10:15 AM in the upper level of the Fellowship hall which has handicap access. Men's Prayer Breakfast is held on the 2nd Saturday of every month beginning at 7:00 am at the Thread City Cafe in Willimantic

Youth group meetings are the last Sunday of the month beginning at 11:30am in the Youth Room. Monday evenings Alcoholic Anonymous open step meeting beginning at 7:00 in the church basement. Pastor Michael Skarda

Dear Saints of Redeemer,

The right understanding of the justification of the sinner is at the center of faith. Christ was crucified in our stead. His blood was poured out to atone for the sins of all. We are made righteous by Christ alone. As the historic saying goes, "the Church stands or falls on the article of justification." May the Lord grant us ears to hear the Gospel that we would cling to Him all our days.

Dear Saints of Redeemer,

Christ our Lord welcomes us to the wedding feast. The call goes out to the good and the bad, the diligent and the lazy, the righteous and the unrighteous. The call of the Gospel, the call of faith comes from the merits of Christ. Let us be clothed in Christ's faith. He took our humanity that we would be deemed righteous and blameless in His sight.

Dear Saints of Redeemer,

The Word of God is a wonderful and heavenly reality for us. Prior to faith we are all like a paralytic. We can't rise nor do anything. We fully depend on others to help and provide for us. According to our human nature we are sinners and dead in our trespasses. Christ our Lord forgave the paralytic man's sin and calls for him to rise. Through the Word, Christ our Lord calls upon us to take heart and receive the forgiveness of sins.

Dear Saints of Redeemer,

Our flesh is too weak and feeble to fulfill what the Lord commands of us. Yet we are not alone. We can only rightly love because God loved us first. The Spirit was sent to dwell with us and all believers. That we may cling to Christ crucified. Through Him we have the forgiveness of sins. By the Spirit we lead a holy life as we love our neighbor and obey God's Word.

What a wonderful thing it is to be called the Lord's beloved. The Heavenly Father cares for every one of our needs. He clothes and grants us food. So also He cares for our spiritual needs. The Heavenly Father grants angels to guard and protect us throughout the daytime and through the hours of the night.

Dear Saints of Redeemer,

The Christian life is marked by returning to the Lord. We can only come to the Lord because of the promise we find in the Word of God, the proclamation of the Gospel, the forgiveness of sins. Time and time again we come to the Lord like a l***r, begging for mercy. For much of our life we are foolish because we are sinful. The Christian life is marked by the fruit of the Spirit. In of ourselves we have nothing to offer for eternal salvation. The Spirit is worked in us so that Christ's salvation would be manifest. Right wisdom comes from the Lord, all other knowledge is fleeting and will not last. Let us remain steadfast in the one true faith, Christ is the Lord who has come to save us from our sins.
