LPC Youth Group is youth ministry that is for grades 7th-12th. I want to share two verses that are the heartbeat behind the The LPC Youth Group. Judges 2:10 says, “After that whole generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation grew up, who knew neither the Lord, nor what He had done for Israel.” One generation said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” But then t

he next generation neither knew Him or nor what He had done. Luke 1:17 gives the commission of John the Baptist as this, “And he will go on before the Lord, in the Spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous-to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

Our goal is to invest in a generation that most have given up on. With God’s leading, our church family wants to make a people ready and “Awaken a Generation to the glory of God.” There are tons of unchurched teenagers in our city, and one by one we want to introduce them to the Savior of the world. LPC Youth Group is more than just a place to go. It’s a place to Belong, Believe and Become (B3). LPC Youth Group is more than a building, it is a starting place to reveal who God is, connect to Jesus and His family, and be sent out to advance the Kingdom with our everyday lives. LPC Youth Group is the sending place for a new generation of Christ followers. Many activities for students include hang-out times, house parties, service projects and larger scale events. These will offer opportunities for students to get to know us and one another. By engaging students in service, worship and mentoring, our hope is that they will feel comfortable first belonging to the LPC Youth Group, and then, through the relationships and teaching that they will experience, begin to believe in Jesus Christ and become more like Jesus and seek to reach out to their friends and their community.

Did what we came for!!!! (Kinda) As leaders we didn’t feel confident taking the whole team up for 14k feet- however we did take them up 11k! So so proud of our leadership team and thankful for leading the way! Also SUPER impressed by (making it to the top!!) and (almost- making it 13k) 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
