You can stop hiding. There is grace for you.

We all know what it feels like to fall short—and then try to cover our shame with excuses, good deeds, or the appearance that everything is fine.

In Genesis 3:7, Adam and Eve reached for fig leaves. But their homemade coverings couldn’t heal what sin had broken.

Join us next Sunday at 10:30 AM at FBC Leander as we open God’s Word for “When Fig Leaves Are Not Enough.” We’ll discover the hope found in the God who calls us out of hiding and provides through Jesus what we could never provide for ourselves.

Preaching Galatians 1:8

Muhammad claimed to receive revelation through an angel, yet Islam denies that Jesus Christ was crucified.

Scripture gives us this solemn warning: even an angel from heaven must be rejected if he proclaims a different gospel (Galatians 1:8).

These claims cannot both be true. The cross and resurrection of Jesus are the heart of the gospel—our hope of forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life.

Our response must be both conviction and compassion: love our Muslim neighbors, speak truth with humility, and faithfully point them to the Savior who died for our sins and rose again.

The gospel is too precious to compromise, and our neighbors are too precious to withhold it from them.

The Gospel Still Has Power!

Religion can keep you busy and still leave your soul without peace. But Jesus Christ offers what our goodness and church attendance can never provide—forgiveness, new life, and peace with God.

Join us Sunday at 10:30 AM at FBC Leander as we open Galatians 1:8–9 and discover why the gospel is too precious to change and too powerful to outgrow.

Christ died for our sins. He rose again. And He welcomes everyone who comes to Him in repentance and faith.

You can know about Jesus—but does Jesus know you?

Join us Sunday at 10:30 AM at FBC Leander for “Known by Jesus: Moving from Religious Confidence to Living Faith” from Matthew 7:21–23.

Jesus speaks a sobering warning with a loving purpose: to awaken us to our need for Him. Church attendance, good intentions, and years of service can never take the place of a heart surrendered to Christ.

Our hope rests in what Jesus has done for us—His cross, His resurrection, His saving grace.

Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, wrestle with doubts, or are just beginning to ask questions, come hear His Word and discover the joy of belonging to Him.
